Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ModForge ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms at any time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Account Registration

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account or impersonate others. ModForge reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Seller Eligibility

To sell on ModForge, you must apply and be approved by our team. Approval is at our sole discretion. By selling, you confirm that you own all rights to the content you list and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property. You must not sell: official game assets you do not own, stolen or repackaged content from other creators, malware or malicious code, or anything illegal.

4. Platform Fees

ModForge charges a 40% platform fee on all completed sales. Sellers receive 60% of the sale price. Fees are deducted automatically before payout. ModForge reserves the right to adjust fees with 30 days' notice.

5. Payments & Payouts

Payments are processed via Stripe, PayPal, or Coinbase Commerce. Seller payouts are issued within 1–3 business days after a sale is marked complete. ModForge is not responsible for payment processor delays or fees. All transactions are in USD unless otherwise stated.

6. Buyer Protection

Buyers may open a dispute within 7 days of purchase if a product is significantly broken or materially misrepresented. ModForge will investigate and may issue a refund at its discretion. Digital products are non-refundable by default outside of this policy.

7. Prohibited Content

You may not list or sell: cheats or exploits designed to harm other players' experiences, content that enables fraud or illegal activity, unofficial copies of premium software without a valid license, content that violates the terms of service of the game it is designed for, or any content that ModForge deems harmful or inappropriate.

8. Intellectual Property

By listing a product, you grant ModForge a non-exclusive license to display, promote, and distribute it through the Platform. You retain ownership of your content. ModForge respects intellectual property rights and will respond to valid DMCA takedown requests.

9. Limitation of Liability

ModForge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the fees you have paid to ModForge in the last 90 days.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits against ModForge.
